3rd Round holds the main license for Pokémon plush in Korea. Like the Chinese plush, legit Korean plush also feature a holographic sticker, making it easy to tell a real plush from a boot. These plush are super cute and well-made. I find their proportions to be a bit cuter than most Pokémon Center plush, too!
Noori Toys is the parent company to 3rd Round. I'm not sure exactly when this plush was released, because Asian licensed plush often all say "1997" on the tags no matter the actual release year. The tag has a holographic authenticity sticker. It's made of soft Mochi material!
A pair of plush with the same size and release date, just in different poses.
This is a BIG plush! I love the proportions on this series of 3rd Round plush. They're soft but firm, and very well-made. Shipping from Korea to the USA is expensive, so it cost quite a bit to import these big plush, but they're worth it for the quality!
A slightly smaller plush then the jumbo winking Mew, but still hefty! This plush is very well-made, like all the Mews in this style from 3rd Round.
A series of Pokemon in a tiny chubby stackable shape. This is very similar to the Pokemon Center's "Odetama" series of beanbag plush.
The Pop series features chibi-style plush with big heads. It's a very firm but well-made plush with soft fabric. I like this design a lot more than the similar big-headed series Banpresto released as a prize plush.
Lotte is a Korean company that owns the Lotte World amusement park as well as the Lotteria fast food chain. They occasionally collaborate with Pokemon to release exclusive plushies and other items.
Lotteria teamed up with Pokemon to offer a series of mini plush with Poké Ball tins. This Mew is very tiny and cute, and of course comes with a Master Ball!
Lotte World Adventure unveiled a special balloon-themed Pokemon event in March-April of 2025. This cute little Mew plush was one of the exclusive items available in the theme park.
Most every plush listed on Aliexpress is a bootleg... except these! Alifish is an officially licensee for Chinese markets. You can tell whether Chinese plush are legit by the holographic stickers on the tag. They're fine quality plush, if a little generic. They remind me of the standard Tomy plush, but a bit less stiff.
I came across a listing for a GIANT Alifish plush on a second-hand Chinese marketplace-- I had no idea they made them this big. I only see the smaller plush on Aliexpress, so I definitely wanted to add this big guy to my collection. Importing it was quite the experience! It's sitting on a bed with my other giant Mew plushies.
Top Insight was the main manufacturer for Taiwanese Pokémon plush until around 2013. They created one of my favorite Mew designs, as well as various other Mew plush. Top Insight plush don't seem to be well-documented on English websites-- I'm still regularly discovering ones I didn't know existed!
I was so excited to find this keychain in a plush lot, especially with a hang tag! This is the cutest Mew pattern, and very hard to find. This series comes in several sizes, and I'm still hunting the larger ones.
This is another plush I found in a lot. It's in pretty rough shape, and I don't know anything about it other than the brand. It has a loop on its head, so I think it was originally a keychain.
I found these plush on a Chinese online marketplace. They intrigue me because they are nearly identical, but different enough that it's clear they are not the same plush. The main difference is the eye shape and the embroidered eye outline. I'd love to know the story behind their manufacturing!
WayToFun makes the majority of Taiwan-exclusive Pokémon plush these days. Like other modern Asian brands, legitimate plush have holographic sticker on the hang tag to prove authenticity.
WayToFun's Mew designs aren't my favorite-- they're a bit angular with super pointy eyes.
These are smaller hanging plush with suction cups attached to their heads. Normally suction cups are an indiciator of a bootleg plush, but these have the authenticity sticker and are official Taiwan plush.
These aren't the best-looking plush, honestly I'd have thought they were bootlegs if not for the authenticity sticker present on genuine Taiwan plush. They just look a little weird and angular to me!
